Lisa teaches D-Lab: Education and Learning. Lisa first came to D-Lab as a student of the D-Lab: Education course, and later stayed involved with youth engagement at D-Lab, designed D-Lab partnerships with Boston Public Schools, and accompanied D-Lab engineers as the education specialist in Pithoragarh, India.

Since then, Lisa has served as a 4th, 5th, and 6th grade teacher in Dorchester and Jamaica Plain. Her goal as an educator is to use design thinking to help children of all abilities, in classrooms of all configurations, become constructive, interdisciplinary learners.

She has also consulted for Boston-based education organizations about integrating art and design into science education, and she is an advocate for top-notch teacher training programs. Lisa is a locally exhibiting visual artist and a Wellesley educated woman.
