Elizabeth manages the research program of the International Development Innovation Network
(IDIN) and leads a multidisciplinary research group at D-Lab on Local Innovation and Development. She teaches a graduate-level research methods class on Understanding Development Impact and is a co-founder of the Lean Research initiative. Elizabeth holds a Masters degree from the International Development Group in MIT’s Department of Urban Studies and Planning and prior to joining D-Lab in 2012, worked for ten years in the nonprofit and social enterprise sector as a consultant and strategist. She has worked and conducted research in Mexico, Chile, Colombia, China, Tanzania and Zambia and is always eager to learn new languages and understand a bit more about the world.
