EOL Project Title: MIT D-Lab Oral History: Telling the Stories of D-Lab International Community Partners

Project Description
Working with MIT D-Lab's communications lead, the intern will design an oral history project focused on the experiences of three to five D-Lab international community partner organizations.
The student will conduct, record, transcribe and edit interviews. The final format of the work may be in one or more of multiple formats - written, audio, and video.
Prerequisites
- A strong interest in learning more about MIT D-Lab's mission to work with people around the world to develop and advance collaborative approaches and practical solutions to global poverty challenges.
- Experience with D-Lab as a student or UROP useful but not required.
- Strong writing and interviewing skills - classes or experience in journalism or narrative writing a plus.
- Candidate should be both detail-oriented and personable.
Compensation
This is a paid opportunity at $13.50/hour with an expectation that the student will spend between 80-140 hours on the project over the course of the semester.
