Financial and Administrative Assistant
Shawn joined MIT D-Lab in late 2024 and is the current the Financial and Administrative Assistant. Shawn helps D-Lab staff members with fiscal-related functions to ensure accurate financial reporting, and with administrative duties to ensure operational efficiency.
Shawn brings accounting and budget management experience from various banking institutions to D-Lab. He works with D-Lab’s international partners in Africa, assisting with their operations and financials.
Shawn studied finance and economics at the University of South Carolina. He is originally from the North Shore of Massachusetts, where he spends his free time watching hockey with his family and playing trivia with his peers.
