Rich Fletcher, a research scientist based at MIT D-Lab and Daniel Chamberlain, a Tata Center for Technology and Design fellow, teamed up with pulmonary experts in India to develop a solution for diagnosing pulmonary disease that employs a simple mobile stethoscope and a common peak flow meter, which together cost less than $50 in low volumes.
