Ana Pantelic speaks at Boston University Pardee School of Global Studies decennial celebration

On Friday, April 4th MIT D-Lab Executive Director Ana Pantelic joined a group of distinguished alumni at the Boston University Pardee School of Global Studies decennial celebration, to discuss the topic “Advancing Human Progress Through Peacebuilding and Development” with faculty and students. 

The panelists explored questions about the future of the international development sector, the changing landscape of multilateralism, and career pathways for students. 

In her remarks, Ana emphasized the critical role of participatory design in addressing global poverty challenges, as well as the growing movement of locally-led innovation. She also highlighted findings from her research, underscoring the challenges of reaching last-mile populations and the need for solutions from both the public and private sectors.
